Booking System (Sirvoy)

Sirvoy, a third-party hotel reservation platform, runs the booking widget on our /book-now page. It loads as soon as you open that page, without asking for consent, because you need it to make a booking. It does not load the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics. Sirvoy may store the following in your browser:

• Session cookies that secured.sirvoy.com sets while you complete a booking.
• sentryReplaySession: Sirvoy uses Sentry to catch errors in its booking system. The key sits in session storage on secured.sirvoy.com, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab.

The widget talks only to Sirvoy and Sentry. Our site reports your booking steps to the analytics and marketing tools described below only if you have consented to them.

These cookies are only set when you give us permission through our cookie consent banner. They help us understand how visitors interact with our website.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our website by collecting anonymized data about page views, session duration, and user interactions.

PostHog

PostHog is a product-analytics tool, hosted in the EU, that helps us understand how visitors move through the site — including the booking funnel on the /book-now page — so we can improve it. It also records anonymised session replays, with all form inputs automatically masked, and we do not build profiles for anonymous visitors.

• ph_<id>_posthog: Stores an anonymous device identifier and session state. Duration: up to 1 year.

Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity provides session recordings and heatmaps to help us understand how visitors navigate and interact with our website. Sensitive data is automatically masked.

• _clck: Persists Clarity user ID. Duration: 1 year.
• _clsk: Connects page views in a session. Duration: 1 day.
• CLID: Identifies returning users. Duration: 1 year.

Meta Pixel (Facebook)

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show relevant ads. With your consent, these set cookies (_fbp, _fbc; duration up to ~90 days) and share event data — including a hashed identifier, IP address and the pages you view — with Meta Platforms Ireland. Server-side events are sent via our backend (Conversions API).

• _fbp: Meta Pixel browser ID. Duration: ~90 days.
• _fbc: Meta Pixel click ID. Duration: ~90 days.

Hamlet's Friends uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta Conversions API directly on this website to measure ad performance and retarget visitors on Facebook and Instagram. These are only activated after you enable marketing cookies (see Meta Pixel section above).
